As Pollokshaws is now the new home of tcfitness I have been exploring different routes around this massive area. Today I travelled north up to Rouken Glen. This was all uphill and with this in mind I thought about performing a 10km negative split. Running all the way uphill to the back of Rouken glen park in 23:06 I quickly turned around and bombed all the way back to the gym in 21:20 shaving a massive 1:46 off my out there time. This could have been better if I hadn't had been running for the past 19days!!!
As for the new trainers - bit of a mixed response!
Pro's for the Saucony progrid kinvara 2
Lightweight
Big forefoot area
Con's for the shoe
Sole maybe to hard,
limited resposiveness (makes dodging neds slightly harder!)
And because they are so light they do not offer much in the way of warmth especially now that the winter months are coming in.
Anyway I will persevere and will keep you updated!!
