Day 16 and the Eskbank Rubbish Runners jogScotland Running Club
Another session with the Eskbank Rubbish Runners and we mixed it up tonight with a lot of hill work. I also tried to do a couple of negative split km sections with a recovery 2km sections up very long and steep(ish) hills with a killer hill at about the 5k mark. That hill sure sorted out the strong from the weak and got the blood pumping. You could also feel the lactic acid build up in the hamstrings as you got to the top of the hill. There were a few of them shouting sweary words by the time we got to the top. Great fun :)
Oh, and the run was actually closer to the 10k mark because this choob started his watch and accidentally stopped it and didn't realise until at least 1.5k into the run!!! I find the bezel operation on the 410 a bit too fiddly for my liking but its still a great watch.
The details of my run can be found at Day 16/365 challenge
Sounds fun!!!
