Tony Day 18/365 - Quick 5km before the WOM at Crossfit

Monday was a very busy day and I did not end up with much time to go and do my run. But as the nature of this challenge is to find the time to perform the running there will always be a spare 20-30min to do so.
Shame that the only spare 30min to run was immediately before performing a grueling workout of the day at Glasgow Crossfit.
Before going out though I quickly had chance to buy a new pair of kicks! I will be commenting on how good (or bad) the new Saucony progrid kinvara 2 are.


So having done the quick run - I arrived straight into the WOD at crossfit which started with a bit of a strength theme - 5-5-5-5 Deadlifts. So the weight I shifted was as follows: 120-130-140-145
After this we did a 10min AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)
10 - 24kg KB Swings
15 - Hollow dish
20 - 24kg KB Walking lunges

Did this for 5 sweaty rounds in the 10min so happy with that given the fact that I have been running every day for 18 days!!!!
My bum will feel sore tomorrow!!!
