Going for a run today was the last thing on my mind. A late night last night at the Headmasters Supper - bit of a beer fest with great food and company made for a slow start this morning. But no rest for the wicked - we'd promised the kids a dyas shopping at Hamley's in London - the worlds biggest toy shop! Kids awake nice and early (!) at the prospect of a 2hr train ride into London - Ollie was beside himself to discover the train was cruising into the Capital at 128mph! A full on day toy shopping, pizza in Soho, a rickshaw ride down Oxford Street and Regent Street into Picadilly and back to Bristol for 7pm on the dot.. knackered, but faithful to the challenge - it was with a slightly heavy heart I laced up once more! However, lace up I did, and here I am - looking forward to "un petit verre" and a curry!
