It's been a while since I've updated but I am pleased to report that I got a replacement Garmin last Friday :)
Started the challenge on Saturday - went out for a short run in the afternoon from my house to Victoria Park and back. My legs felt stiff as I'd had a session with TC the day before but I did it!

Sunday 6/11/11
My legs felt even sorer today! Today I ran with the running network and it was a short slow run which I was glad about but very cold! Will need to look at getting a hat and pair of gloves!

Monday 7/11/11
It was a struggle to go out today not because my legs were sore - they were feeling better but it was cold and dark and I had been working all day. However, once I was out it did feel good. Ran from my house down to Dumbarton Road and back again - not the route I would normally do from my house but as I was running in the dark I had to stick to well lit and busy places for safety!
Day 3 - http://connect.garmin.com/activity/127215727
Tuesday 8/11/11
Unfortunately, due to meetings after work and orchestra rehersals on Tuesday nights I was unable to go for a run today :( However, I decided that I still needed to be active so decided I would leave earlier and walk to Byres Road and take the subway into town. I usually take the train which is round the corner from my house.
I know technically I didn't run today - I was active and could easily not have been.
Day 4 - http://connect.garmin.com/player/127617153
Wednesday 9/11/11
Did a similar route to Monday but varied it slightly and ran up most of Gardiner Street. For those of you that don't know Glasgow - it is one of the steepest hills in Glasgow. I think I was feeling guilty because of yesterday! Felt good while running but towards the end I could feel my knee so will need to make sure I am doing stretches and rehab work for it.
