Bit chilly today, so dressed up like the Michelin (wo)man and set up with my 65 year old step-mother. Decided to follow some known footpaths & just see where we end up. Tried a few new ones which was nice! Thats what is so great about this challenge - you get bored treading the same old routes, so it makes you search out new ones! Felt really great up until 16 miles, then the snow started falling - stings the face. Also where it was settling it was difficult not being able to clearly see the frozen ruts! Nearly went over a couple of times.
All in all, I really enjoyed it - dinner at pub tonight & apart from a short trot tomorrow, its going to be a Chillax weekend.
