Benjour 46 - no more losses

today at least. A crazy busy day, but had the luxury of giving myself 30 mins pondering time over a coffee and crumpets this morning to give me the best plan of attack. It then felt like I spent the rest of the day on the telephone!

Productive day heightened only by a miserable run in the rain this afternoon before collecting the mini-beasts from school and nursery. Could really do with getting off-road sometime soon, but there aren't enough hours in the day, just seem to be grabbing 30 mins here and there at odd times. (read Anusha is on-call an awful lot at the moment!!)

Ben Day 46 - Garmin

World Book Day today (or could be tomorrow?) so pre-prep kids were encouraged to go to school dressed as their favourite book character - lots of mini-Cats in Hats walking around school which I found hilarious for some reason and Harry Potters whizzing about.. Oliver very shy, but secretly delighted, when a year 4 boy called out "Ollie Buckle, are you dressed as Tom from Beast Quest??" Hence the shield and tabard making at the weekend.. he had a blast. x2 Tintin were in his class - who knew?! Highlight of the week for the school though has to be the kids Aunty, and award winning Bloomsbury author Becky Edwards, coming to the school tomorrow to talk to the kids about being a writer. No doubt the kids will be pestering her to make them pancakes for breakfast before she carts them to nursery/school - they're really excited about her staying tonight!!

Anusha in Glasgow for the next few days at a conference - she's even taken her trainers, so keep your eyes peeled lads! Looking forward to catching up with Becky over beer and pizza, after our family holiday to Ceylon over xmas.

  1. I'm in Glasgow for the next few days as well. Me and Tony went for a run this afternoon and if we'd known then Anusha could've come with us :)
