A great day at work today; some encouraging news on a project I've been working on for over five years. Makes for a cracking start to the weekend. Ollie had a piano concert first thing this morning, he's been practising very hard this term and it's wonderful to see him rise up to the occasion and play so well. Very proud parents.
A nice bracing run along the Catch Yelp this evening, before we head out to dinner with friends.
reached for the iPod once more - a bit of Take That on the way out, with the Script on the way back in... took my mind off the monotony and almost didn't notice the run itself, just lost in my thoughts!
Swimming lessons with the kids tomorrow - a highlight of my weekend, and then dinner with more friends at our house tomorrow evening... a great way to spend a weekend!!
