Benjours 130-132 - Brecon Beacon weekend!

Friday left just enough time for a dash along the cycle path before collecting Ollie from Judo - the only diff was that having thought I'd pressed the start button, it turned out I hadn't! - merde alors.. I was listening to a repeat of the Johnnie Walker podcast with Ken Robinson whilst warming up and during the run and didn't notice the absence of buzzing every mile...
Friday night and the girls were heading over to London for the ballet - Sleeping Beauty by the English National Ballet on Saturday morning - specifically for kids.. Noodle went in her pink tutu and ballet shoes (she doesn't even do ballet (yet!)) - loved it apparently.. some boys there too which is great (Ken Robinson!).

In the mean time, Ollie and I went camping for the weekend in the Brecon Beacons... Saturday we went up Pen Y Fan and Cribyn and back down Bryn Teg, a fantastic circular 7 mile route - one that would have been even better if we could have seen the landscape, were it not for the mist! - the Fan's you continue to tease! lots and lots of mist... Ollie did really well considering the cumulative climbing.. zoom in on satellite setting and you get a sense of the Fan's if you've not had the pleasure of coughing your guts up on them whilst yomping with a heavy bergen!

Benjour Day 131 - Pen Y Fan

Today was spent sorting out camping kit, cleaning VW transporter and going to a car show at Ollie's school for a few hours.. lots of expensive Ferrari's/Aston's etc... he was in his element, me less so, but for him it made a fantastic finish to a great weekend... he's knackered now and therefore a bit grumpy!

Really enjoying Nicky's Thailand experience - feel like I'm living every day with you!
