I tried to calibrate my foot pod again tonight and I am now much closer with the pod and the GPS and within the accuracy of the device as is (less than 5% difference).

I think I need to leave the pod in the same position on my shoe to get consistent results. Nice night for a short run to make up for the quirky events of this afternoon!
