Ben Day31/365 - 1 down 11 to go!

Ben Day 31/365 - Garmin
one month in - just 11 more to go - forget this counting upwards malarkey!
Anusha on call yet again so grabbed a quick run along the cycle path - a bit crazy today - picking up emails from earlier in the week all day, and then dash to school to collect Oliver after golf finishes at 5 - collect the Noodle from nursery - packed tea in the car and drive straight over to Beaver scouts  - they were short of a leader this evening so I was suited and booted (I'm a scout leader in what little spare time I do have) and spent an enjoyable hour with Beavers making advent calendars! Neela had to join in too which she loved, since Anusha was operating! back home in time for stories and teeth brushing, before dashing out for a run in the new Ashmei jacket which arrived this morning... I'll review tomorrow, but first impressions are stunning!

I forgot to mention that on Tuesday evening this week (in a haze of champagne) I agreed to run the Florence Marathon - so I've decided to sign Marg up too! (Marg, I think I may have forgotten to mention this - a mere oversight on my part!) :-) (Marg, I pursuaded Scott Holmstrom to run it too)

Nicky, Tony, Charles - I do of course extend a hand and invite you to join us - it's supposed to be flat and stunning and quite a small field - only 8,000 or so.... our local affiliate would host us and take care of arrangements on our behalf (though not pay for it of course!)

PS - I do hope that those of us with sucking chest wounds, and hacking coughs get better soon - it's a classic sign when upping the mileage that chest infections start in - I have read that paleo diets are supposed to help prevent chest infections supposedly.

  1. I thought you were joking but I'm actually quite excited to do it if you are not joking. When is it? This would be my first marathon....bit nervous.
