for all the time I'm spending on this cycle path I should sign up for the olympics!
the only saving grace is I get to pick up the pace when the body feels on for it - set myself a target of 5k under 22 mins today just to keep the interest levels up... pleased with the outcome.
Ben Day33/365 - Garmin
(just realised the maps on this Garmin thing aren't displaying - unsure why? anyone any ideas?)
wife still on-call, kids both to parties this afternoon, Oliver, to Beavers 25th birthday celebration (I took a moments pause to recall I first was a Beaver Leader 20 years ago before I went to uni first time around!), Noodle to a friend from nursery's 4th birthday. Both kids exhausted! Oliver couldn't recall a single thing about the Beavers party celebrations, only that it was great and within 30seconds of him getting into the car he was talking about food and how he only had a little piece of cake "with very little icing daddy!"
I'm really getting brassed off with our cursed cycle path now - itching to get off road again and get some mud under my shoes. Just one more night of wife on-call and then I can hit the trails - BOOM!
Hugely impressed with Marg and Charles - carrying illness isn't much fun. No doubt when the grobies catch up with me, I'll be drawing on both your strengths to carry me through!
Nicky has agreed to run Florence, as has Mr Hollywood (Tony Curtis) - Charles, that just leaves you mon ami...Could make for a nice way to finish a years worth of running... have you run one before?

Great time Ben. You are really humming!!
ReplyDeleteHi Ben, I too had a couple of days where my maps would not down load! Thought it was my Garmin as I am having dreadful problems downloading to Garmin Connect anyway. Anyway, it seems to have rectified itself & the maps now appear! Strange. Still however cannot download my runs. Garmin product support have emailed me to say its something to do with compatibility with Internet Explorer 9 (means nothing to me). We have an apple mac & it seems to do strange stuff all the time anyway. Still, when Alfie gets home I am hoping he can make sense of their instructions. I cant!
ReplyDeleteHappy running.
They've updated the garmin site. You can now set favourites on the activities page etc. seems to work ok now :)
