bit of a nonedescript week of running - snatched here and there... ankle still giving occasional grief, trying to protect it in advance of LAMM next weekend... hope Tony's ripped ankle calms down a bit before then... looks nasty. We find out the area location on Thursday. All we know at the moment is that it's 2 hours drive North of Glasgow... winner!
Scout camp jamboree this weekend - I helped put up some of our Unit's tents on Thursday night for a few hours - great to see the neighbouring troops all coming together for a big weekend bash - plethora of green old-school canvas patrol tents and big white mess tents... ace and takes me back!!
Ollie and I are both there tomorrow and staying over - he gets to stay over on the Saturday night - his first time camping with his Beever colony and first time camping without either Anusha or I - though I'll be camping by close-ish keeping an eye on our other Scouts! Really looking forward to it..I'll be there on, Sat and Sunday all day and night so hope to be able to find some time to get some runs in - might have to get up early for a run along the coastline - we're about one field in from the Bristol Channel! Sounds like we've got a packed programme..looks like rain too - get in!
