Tony Days 183-188 - Officially half way in the Challenge and warm up for highland fling

So this week marked the official halfway point of my run365challenge.
I didn't actually think that this day would come! However, here we are and as someone said to me "its all downhill from here!"
This week also marked the warm-up (see: taking it easy) for the second hardest ultra-marathon in Scotland: The HOKA Highland Fling.

We extend the warm global hand of friendship and camaraderie and invite you to join us on a fantastic journey for the next 365 days. All you need to do is run, every day, for a year. You set your minimum daily distance e.g. 2 miles/10k, whatever you feel you can maintain, and record your run using a Garmin-type satellite watch or app. Record your daily efforts on our blog. Easy. At the end of your year of running, we present you with a bound copy of your own blog entries and satellite records to put on your coffee table at home with which to regale your friends and family with tales of heroism and derring-do!
Look around the site and take a read through our blog. We’re not superhuman Olympic athletes (well, most of us aren’t!) we’re just folks who have a slight interest in running. What we do share is a passion for adventure and commitment to supporting one another on this journey.
