127/365 8 mile round trip to Sainsburys! by Big Kev
With an errand to complete tonight and the weather looking like it will change tomorrow, I took to the trails and streets for a nice 8 miles. The temperature was a little baffling as I am not used to, what do the call it 'warm weather'! That said, there were plenty of people also out enjoying the 'warm weather' and they all looked as confused as I did!
I set off from home this evening through Leigh Wood and along the towpath by the River Avon. At the junction of the towpath and Greville Smyth Park I headed across the roads and into Sainsbury's. With the drop off made, it was about turn and back to home. For the return journey I stuck to the pavements and used Rownham Hill as a test of endurance, once climbed it was a gentle descent back to home.
The legs felt a little heavy this evening and I am going to put this down to the trainers, as I am certain that this pair have reached the end of their journey. Still a couple of weeks to go to my birthday, I am hoping that the odd running gift, or two, will make an appearance.
