Busy day at home prior to flying to France so didnt manage to get my 2m in. Arrived at my sisters place in Lascouix, Charente around 10pm so headed out in the pouring rain (just like the UK) to do my basic 2m. Thankfully very quiet country lanes so just did an out & back with a big torch.

First day here. Cool and cloudy and a bit tired so just did the basic 2m as an out & back run. Lovely small country lanes with little traffic, nicely undulating & beautiful countryside.

Went exploring and did nearly 7m. Loving the change to my usual 2m boring routes in the Uk - its getting me to run a wee bit further.

12m today. Had only planned 6m but got side tracked & a wee bit lost. Also forgot to bring water & typically the sun decided to come out for a while! Gasped my way home eventually. Really enjoyed the run however.

Last day. Cold and damp and as have to head for airport later, just stuck to a basic 2m out & back. After yesterdays 12m probably wise move.
