109/365 A late lunch run from home by Big Kev

109/365 A late lunch run from home by Big Kev

With a hectic work schedule this morning the lunchtime run was a bit late. On the upside though, the sun was shining and it was warm enough for just a shirt and shorts. The plan was therefore to get away from the main road and stay in the sun for as long as possible (covering 5k ish). Turing right from home leads me a long Sandy lane which meets the bottom of Abbots Pool, a large loop around the pool and Snake's Well Wood and I am back on Sandy lane and heading towards home. I am still amazed at how distracted you become while running and enjoying the countryside, as the run seems to be over so much quicker than normal. Again its obviously only a perspective of time as the watch still shows 25 minutes have passed and 3.5 miles have been covered.

Here's to the weekend, one of gardening jobs, filing accounts and kit cleaning. Add in Park Run tomorrow and watching the London Marathon on Sunday and that's the weekend pretty much full.
