Overnighter last night in Tamworth so popped out & did a 3+miler before continuing on up to Mansfield. Found a nice path along the river. Tried to make it a loop but ended up running alongside a dual carriageway so had to back track the way I came. Very muggy & was wringing wet by the time I got back to the hotel. Nice start to what was going to be a very difficult day - funeral for a good friends 24 yr old son. :(
Just read that you really are starting again! I can hardly believe it! You are incredible! All the best! Hope you and you friend were able to get through today OK. It must have been very tough.

ReplyDeleteYup - really am starting from the beginning. Had some dialogue with Tony, and it is after all a 365 day challenge, and its things like missing a day that makes it a challenge & having to make the decision to throw in the towel or start from scratch. I am not a quitter!
My lesson was though: always have running kit & Garmin in the car, no matter what!!!
