This morning I got up and went for the standard Kelvingrove 5k. My knee was sore from the moment I started and it was really quite hard to keep going. To make things worse my Garmin seemed to not record the first half kilometre and so I found myself having to put in a few extra loops in order to make up the distance. The run was therefore a tedious and slow one. I decided to give CrossFit a miss this evening in an attempt to gain some extra rest and I can only hope that my evening off will mean that tomorrow's venture is less painful.
