123/365 Definitely off road by Big Kev
Well the prospect of today's lunchtime run did fill me with trepidation, especially following yesterdays awful run. I therefore decided that I needed to distract the body and mind. I set off along Sandy Lane towards Abbots pool, where the fisherman have return following the rubbish British weather and to be honest, I could have easily just stopped there and sat a while, but no, I went on and headed off on one of the numerous trails. The one I picked was actually another new one for me, the entrance is on the track between Weir Lane and Cotham Rugby club. On reflection it was perhaps a little too demanding, but the job of distracting mind and body was accomplished. All in all, 4 miles were covered at a pace that made me happy enough, but I am still feeling very tired.
Upside though is that its now a 3 day weekend, so some extra duvet time is definitely on the cards. But only after I have taken Jess to see Iron man 3 3D Xtreme (no Idea what the Xtreme is all I now is that it cost more!!!)
