126/365 Abbots Pool, Ashton Court and the Dovecote 4 miles
Today was all about off road and with the sun beaming down and blue sky's it looks like everyone else wanted to be out of the house. The trails were very busy with walkers, riders and runners. Everyone seemed happy and said hello, so life is good.
By the time I got to the Dovecote I could have gone on for a few more miles, but with no fluids it would have been foolish. I am starting to look forward to Friday's Great Western Runners 10K along the River Avon's towpath. I believe there are a few places left so if you fancy some nice views and friendly encouragement from the marshals then take a look at the website for more details. www.greatwesternrunners.org.uk
One point of interest for those that do worry about my health, is that I have found a few stretches for what I believe is piriformis syndrome (thanks Therese) which has plagued my running for the last 12 months. Following these stretches I not only was pain free on the run today, but I was also able to chase down the fox in the garden today, before it realised I was upon it! He was a shocked as I was!
