These were just a few straightforward runs to and from work. This does allow me to get a fairly healthy weekly distance in at 12 miles per day. Going to be keeping an eye on this over the next week as I approach my taper for Edinburgh. No major drama although I did have to stop and walk during my jog home one day as I experienced a really sharp pain in my lower stomach. No idea what it was and I managed to walk it off after about half an hour but it was not pleasant! The kids have all apparently spotted me out running with my huge bag of books on my back and seem to be impressed so hopefully it might inspire a couple of them. I have had a few more pupils sign up for the running club this week so maybe this is a reason for the sudden interest! I have also discovered the Marathon Talk podcast. It's a fantastic way to remain entertained on my long runs and a nice way to wake up when jogging into school in the morning. I will definitely be following this more frequently from now on.
