These days were simple, short and slow 5km jogs. I planned on completing the MHFS 10km on Sunday and was hoping to achieve a new p.b. With my previous 10km race being a few years prior to this challenge I had no idea what my p.b. actually was! However I could not remember ever achieving a sub 36minute run.
I was struggling with a really painful knee over these days. I am not sure what sparked it however my upcoming race led me to take a careful approach to my training. I simply covered my minimum distance without overdoing the pace or the effort.
