174/365 Cotswold relay leg 4 recce part 2, 4 ish miles by Big Kev

Today's run was a necessity following our deviation from the planned leg 4 route of the Cotswold Way relay. With the race just 6 days away, Emma and I went back to the finish and worked our way through to the point where we went off piste on Wednesday's recce run. From my Garmin map I could see it was about 2 miles from the finish so we started off knowing that around 4 -5 miles of running over all would see us there and back. What we hadn't quite accounted for though were the 2 massive climbs and ascents before we reached the point where we went wrong. The highlight of this was Coopers Hill (famous for the cheese rolling) and seeing it up close and personal for the first time makes me understand why, some people want to ban it and why others quite literally throw themselves into it!

With all the dots on the map now joined up I can now enjoy an easier week in preparation for Saturday.
