Been a while since I've been up around the quarries in Flax - after the deluge these last few days it made for quite a bit of fun in the mud and clag. Bluebell carpets and wild garlic all over, even stumbled across a lone tulip in the middle of nowhere! - it's a beautiful route in the spring when things are just getting going. Lambs and piglets in the fields - even ran about 3" from a rabbit on an overgrown path - though he didn't look too good, weeping from the eyes by the looks of things...
a great run - ankles a bit sore, but enjoyed getting out.
