96/365 Trails in the sun with Pete over 5 miles by Big Kev

96/365 Trails in the sun with Pete over 5 miles by Big Kev

After toasting those who are no longer with us last night and nursing a sore head this morning, a lie-in was not only needed, but required. So with some smiles and shopping under our belts before lunch, a run on the trails was planned for after lunchtime. With the sun shining brightly and the trails beckoning, a very timely text from Pete Royle meant that I would have some company on today's run. As Pete had already run 3 miles from home to get to me, we ventured off with just 3 miles on our mind, but 2 miles in, another pathway lead us further a field. A few hills later and a thoroughly enjoyable 5 miles had been completed.

Tonight is now all about celebrating, we have had a win on the National, high tea and cakes and now we are off to be entertained and wowed by the amazing Emeli Sande.

Thanks to Katie and Jess for making today so lovely and to Tina for agreeing to remain married to me after 22 years.

Forest of Dean tomorrow, so another early start, but it looks like the weather will remain with us for one more day.

4 Days to the big 100...... For those that may have also had a win or two today, consider what Pete has already done and he has kindly sponsored me £36.50 for the 365 days.
