It feels like I have been 'almost at 200 days' for a while now. I made the silly mistake of telling someone that I was nearly at 200 recently and ever since that moment it has felt like an eternity. Today I finally hit the marker. 200 feels like a really big marker and, even though it's not that much further than half way, it has definitely put a smile on my face. I have found that by breaking the challenge down into shorter targets it has felt much more manageable and so I figure my next target is the 250 mark. There was no ceremony about today's run. I ran a simple 5k jog around Queen's Park to make the most of being able to run in daylight before I go back to work tomorrow. It was a slow jog but an enjoyable one as I drifted through the park daydreaming about the summer holiday which Vicki and I have just booked to Venice/Verona. A very exciting prospect...
