Nicky: Day 253 Somerton, Knole Loop by knickerscat at Garmin Connect - Details
I am starting to get worried now!!! Managed just over 5.5m but blinkin eck I found it sooooo tough again. Dont know whats wrong: feel heavy & oh so darn sluggish. Having to walk on miniscule hills that I wouldn't usually think twice about trotting up!!! Really hoping that its just day 250+ fatigue! This is seriously now becoming a challenge. Starting to dread pulling my trainers on in case I struggle yet again. How is everyone else bearing up? Thinking I may have to take it easy for a week or so as I have a 24 hr race coming up in 3 weeks. I am doing it solo so absolutely cannot afford to crawl or stop on that. HMMMM!!!
Blimey that sounds hard but you keep going your my inspiration for this challenge so keep going keep going even it's just gentle 2 miles
ReplyDeleteCheers rob! Dont look to me as your inspiration. I am feeling like an old duffer at the moment. Tony C is defo mine!! Mind you, he is about 16 years younger. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm exactly the same Nicky. I feel exhausted and the smallest of hills are a real struggle. It must be the number of days we've been doing.
ReplyDeleteThe strange thing is when it comes to the races we always seem to find some extra strength from somewhere
Maybe we should see if TC can give advice on how he's still feeling so fresh :)
I agree Chalres. Can just about pull it out the bag for a race but boy its getting a wee bit tough now!!! Still over 100 days to go. Wheweeeee!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to know if Marg is feeling heavy and sluggish as well.
ReplyDeleteI hope this is just going to be a passing phase cos I've got a couple of half marathons in just over a month
Nicky your no old duffer. I have to live with my icd and beta blockers I get periods of been very tired and having you and tony and the rest of the guys on this challenge keeps me going and I thank you all
ReplyDeleteI thought it was just me after having been hiking this week but I am really finding that I have to kick myself out the door to do my runs since I got back. I think I will try to do some new routes. That helped last time I had a low patch.
