Days 16 and 17 each saw me complete my 5k in two parts as I made my way to and from CrossFit Glasgow. The route was the usual run along the river. I felt strong on the runs although I suffered during the CrossFit WOD's as I have had two weeks off of doing any weights.
Day 18 I performed my run at lunchtime and did a loop of Kelvingrove Park as it has been a while since I did this circuit. It was nice to run in the park as most of my running over the last few weeks has been on the roadside. I took my Ipod and made it a fairly gentle run just to enjoy the surroundings. After the run I enjoyed a nice lazy afternoon of organising a few bits and pieces for work whilst following the CrossFit Central Manchester Games online and watching Federer beat Murray in the Wimbledon final.
