A great day supporting the brave runners of the Bath Half marathon today, great smiles and cheers along with the tears and chattering of teeth. A chilly morning for the runners meant at least they would stay cool around the course. The supporters however need every layer to stay warm, the effects of the cold though was continually broken by the smiles of the runners as they received the support from the crowds. We were able to spot all but one of friends and our club runners and even got a smile, way a photo of Greg James (the Radio1DJ).
The biggest cheer went up for our friends Deb Peters and husband Keith who keep on battling, that another race done, excellent work.
My run was obviously inspired by the events of the morning but just a mere 5k as I also need to run early tomorrow due to work commitments. It will be very nice to get out before the traffic, bring it on.
