271/365 A steady parkrun (right!) 5K by Big Kev

271/365 A steady parkrun (right!) 5K by Big Kev

The plan for this morning was to take it easy as I would like to have a good tempo run at the Oldbury 10 miler tomorrow. Well I met up with Marcus this morning and the plan was set to run circa 21:00 minutes. It was a big event for several people today and there were two of note and deserve a mention. Firstly, Alison Engledew was our first Ashton Court lady parkrunner to reach 100 park runs, what an amazing achievement, well done. Secondly, an acknowledgement and an apology goes out to Mike Warren for his hard fought new PB. The acknowledgement that any PB at Ashton court is hard work and an apology for the harassment (encouragement) Marcus and I gave him on the way to the finish line, Well done Mike.

So the day is in front of me now and I have a bit of work to do this afternoon and then its party time. Lauren's 30th birthday celebrations are finally coming to the end of the month long tour and we have the big party tonight at Gold Brick house as the conclusion.  Bring it on.

94 day to go an counting!
