205/365 Early start on the run, 5K by Big Kev
The end of the school term signifies the start of summer in Caple household. It's a happy and sad time. Tina has to say goodbye to her pupil which is sad and yet we now have about 5 weeks together to rebuild her energy and relax where possible. Today's run was therefore an early one as the breakfast of champions was made (pancakes yogurt and fruit, Tina's favourite) and enjoyed and then I was off into the early morning sunshine. As you know I am sticking to the minimums this week and took another easy session around Leigh Woods, which was particularly busy with dog walkers and yet noticeably lacking in mountain bikers.
The plan for the day then involves, stretches, shower, coffee and then work. I am already halfway through the week and yet have a full weeks work left, how will I fit everything else in!
Focus Kev, tonight is the end of term drinks with the school, so the big question is do I join their alcoholic celebrations or provide a taxi service for some of the hardworking staff? Read tomorrow's blog to find out!
