Day 259/365 by robgundry at Garmin Connect - Details
Again a 5 miler as its march and that means its not long till london !! Didnt feel that great today my mind was else where but hey as always the run helped

This may be the end for me

During our second hare scramble of the series here in Arkansas, I hurt my left knee. I did not feel the injury happen and can only assume that it happened on the bike - it was a particularly tough course - the most technical of the series that we ride. Anyway - the race was over at 2:30 in the afternoon, the 4 of us loaded up and then drove 2 hours home. We unloaded the bikes and gear - nothing from the knee. During the night I woke with pretty bad pain in the knee just from changing position while sleeping. Getting up this morning, I am limping pretty good. I plan to try and run this evening after walking for the entire day - hoping that it will feel better somehow. More later - maybe?

62/365 Bath Half supporters day!! by Big Kev

62/365 Bath Half supporters day!! by Big Kev at Garmin Connect - Details

A great day supporting the brave runners of the Bath Half marathon today, great smiles and cheers along with the tears and chattering of teeth. A chilly morning for the runners meant at least they would stay cool around the course. The supporters however need every layer to stay warm, the effects of the cold though was continually broken by the smiles of the runners as they received the support from the crowds. We were able to spot all but one of friends and our club runners and even got a smile, way a photo of Greg James (the Radio1DJ).

The biggest cheer went up for our friends Deb Peters and husband Keith who keep on battling, that another race done, excellent work.

My run was obviously inspired by the events of the morning but just a mere 5k as I also need to run early tomorrow due to work commitments. It will be very nice to get out before the traffic, bring it on.

Well I'm hoping everyone agrees that we all have 'can't be bothered' days? Unfortunately today was mine! Lets hope for better things tomorrow!

61/365 Point to point 8 miles Portishead to home by Big Kev

61/365 Point to point 8 miles Portishead to home by Big Kev at Garmin Connect - Details

Point to point run today, as we are off to support the runners in the Bath half marathon tomorrow, hence I wanted to get my longer run in today. Good elevation on the run this morning as I started off at the top of Portishead and then ended up near the top of Abbots Leigh.

The miles have stacked up this week even though I wanted an easy week, so I will definitely take it easy tomorrow.
